Hector did an amazing job on our project from start to finish. He was involved in basically every phase: demolition, framing, drywall, painting, tiling, and the in-floor heating (WarmBoard) installation. Having him involved early during framing made a huge difference, since he had the foresight to plan ahead for how the later stages would come together.
That range is what really set him apart — high-end work across the board, not just one specialty. He handled the tiling for our bathroom (including the shower) and an entire hallway, plus all the in-floor heating pipe work, and his attention to detail throughout was outstanding.
What stood out most was how he balanced things: he'd check in with us on design choices that mattered, but also made the right calls on his own when we didn't need to be involved. He always brought up problems early and offered solutions, while still letting us make the final decisions on our own project. When we ran short on supplies, he just went and got them himself to keep things moving.
He was meticulous but never wasteful — he made smart calls that actually saved us time and money, even when it meant more work on his end. You can tell he had our best interests in mind the whole way through.
