What does a general contractor actually do?

We manage every part of your project — hiring and scheduling trades, pulling permits, booking inspections, tracking budget and quality, and being the single point of accountability if something needs to be fixed.
Is it cheaper to hire trades myself instead of a general contractor?

Sometimes on paper, but scheduling conflicts, rework from uncoordinated trades and permit delays usually erase the savings. A general contractor also carries the liability and warranty that individual trades typically will not.
Can you manage a project that's already underway?

In some cases, yes. We will assess what has been done, confirm it meets code, and take over scheduling, permits and remaining trades from that point.
How do you handle disputes with subtrades or suppliers?
