Whole-Home Renovations in Toronto & the GTA

Sometimes the answer is not one room. A whole-home renovation lets us rethink how the entire house flows — and replace the wiring, plumbing and insulation while the walls are already open.

What is included

Everything this project needs, under one contract

Full layout reconfiguration

Walls removed, stairs relocated, sightlines opened — engineered, not guessed.

New mechanical systems

Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and panel upgrades brought fully to current code.

Insulation & windows

Envelope upgrades that quietly cut your energy bills for decades.

Kitchens & every bathroom

One coherent material story instead of five renovations that do not match.

Millwork & built-ins

Custom storage designed room by room around real belongings.

Flooring & finishing throughout

Continuous flooring, consistent trim and paint detailing house-wide.

Renovate once, properly

Doing the house in one campaign is almost always cheaper and better than five separate projects. You pay for protection, staging and mobilization once, and every room is designed to relate to the next.

It also means no future project has to reopen a wall you just finished.

Managed like a build, not a series of favours

Whole-home projects live or die on schedule control and communication. You get a locked scope, a construction schedule, one dedicated point of contact and weekly progress updates with photos.

Change orders, when they happen, are priced and approved in writing before the work proceeds.

What it costs

Honest ranges, itemized quotes

Whole-home renovations in the GTA typically range from $150,000 to $500,000+ depending on square footage, how much structure moves and finish level. Every allowance is stated so you can see exactly where the money goes.

Questions

Whole-Home Renovation questions, answered

How long does a whole-home renovation take?

+

Most run 4 to 9 months on site, with design, engineering and permits adding 2 to 4 months beforehand.

Do we need to move out?

+

For a full gut, yes — it is faster, safer and usually cheaper. Phased renovations where you stay in part of the home are possible and we will price both.

Can you update wiring and plumbing at the same time?

+

That is one of the main advantages. With the walls open, replacing knob-and-tube wiring, galvanized plumbing or an undersized panel costs a fraction of doing it later.

How do you keep the budget under control?

+

Detailed scope, stated allowances, written change orders and weekly reporting. No surprise line items at the end.
